======Original Mod description=====

That's no space station, that's a moon!

So many eclipses, yet such clear skies.

Yeah, that makes NO sense.

So I've decided to fill in the space around our forcefully adopted homeworlds!

Introducing the ThatsAMoon Mod!

Features
- Adds (for now) three moons and an asteroid orbiting high over the planet, each with different characteristics and textures.
=> Gas Dwarf (Dunno if that's a real thing but it is in this game :P), a gasseous moon, devoid of a solid surface and home to an extremely dense atmosphere.

=> Destroyed Moon, a moon that was bombarded by asteroids early in the rimworld's development. Eventually, its orbit was altered so signifcantly that the moon was ripped apart by tidal forces.

=> Small Moon(first one added), a moon sharing a surprisingly large number of characteristics with our moon, just on a signifcantly smaller scale.

Future Features
- More interesting looking moons and asteroids. Our rocks will blot out the sun!
- Varied moon sizes and more detailed descriptions
- Moons more spread out around the planet (currently they tend to clump together if two moons spawn)

Known issues
- There's a bug that causes the moon to disappear when the camera moves far enough away from it (not zooming, I mean when you pan across the world). I'm currently workin on a solution for that :)

- THIS MOD REQUIRES A NEW SAVE TO SEE THE MOON

Do we uninstall this mod to use the Rimnauts mod for its moon, or do the two mods integrate?

This mod has been fully overhauled and upgraded into two new mods (upgrades to this version coming soon):

Play on the moon! In RimNauts you are able to discover a fully playable moon map complete with unique biome and map features. Build a rocket and blast off to explore the moon!

Waste in Space is a lightweight visual addition to the vanilla game. It creates a ring of waste in orbit around the rimworld, very similar to this mod. Waste in Space is fully integrated into the base RimNauts mod.

I will work on integrating mechanical upgrades to this mod to bring it to the functionality of waste in space, while preserving as much of the original mod as possible.

Any chance of this being integrated with Realistic Darkness mod to add varying levels of darkness depending on available moons (ie, moonlight, even if can't see waxing/waning moon)? Cuz sometimes the night is too light, but that mod makes it too dark...

Come check out my newest mod. It uses a complete overhaul of this mod's orbital mechanics!

We need to play ON the moon, it would be interesting

I don't see why not, although we are having some unexpected issues with sos2 right now. Should be fixed soon though
