Description
After wrestling for the GWF and the NWA, John Layfield signed with the WWF in 1995 and debuted as Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw, a gimmick patterned after Stan Hansen. He was managed by Uncle Zebekiah (Dutch Mantel), and the duo would brand fallen opponents after Bradshaw knocked them out with his powerful lariat.

By 1997, Layfield was repackaged as Blackjack Bradshaw, one-half of the New Blackjacks. He later found success tagging with Ron Simmons/Faarooq as The Acolytes/APA and as JBL, he became WWE Champion in 2004.
