you arent late at all!, i might be a little rusty, can you describe it better? it might be something with the gps. also it in the landing or take off?. the way that it works it creates 2 circles in the landing coordinates. a outer one that minimizes how much the pitch, roll and yaw the vtol can do. and a inner one that makes the yaw = 0, and the vtol will behave much like a drone, some times when it gets in the inner circle might take a while find to land or if it was strong enough winds to push it back it might get stuck trying to fight the wind

I am probably too late to get support but I have used this in two vtols and one it works perfect but in the other it thinks it is in helicopter mode all the time and is pitching down thinking it needs to move forward.

oh, i see, yeah thats a pid adjustment,P is too high, try setting everything to 0 but the P, set the P to 1, and keep it adjusting until it almost set it self stable then tou adjust the D to smooth everything

this video helped me a lot how to setup a pid:

that problem is solved but when we connect all the stuff we did 2 tests one with just alt hold and one with the ap and the one with alt hold worked fine except for a bit unstable but thats because of the gyro but with the test with ap i put in the coordinates and instead of flying up to the desired altituede (or any altitude at all) right when it leaves the ground it will just instantly flip forward and the engines will keep flipping to the right and wont adjust at all to go towards the waypoint so this is kind of weird to ask but yeah could i have some help?

ill be looking into to it, but my guess would be that your engines pid may be not propelly configured
