@Kinasin should be! i haven't run into any problems and i've been playing runs with her pretty regularly during the betas and since spring molting got pushed to main branch. spring molting didn't add any ingredients or change much in the way of how her various .xmls get read, and she doesn't have any custom scripting that might break in such a way. if any of y'all have run into problems feel free to report them here!

is this working fine with molting?

@JACK she's got a few hints and tips squirreled away in her ingredient encyclopedia but it's mostly flavor. it's bad enough i give you an infinite ammo glowmoth gaze projectile as part of your starting kit when you travel with her. if i gave you my true knowledge of cooking mechanics through her then the game would hold no more challenge. you'd live forever.

I quizzed her on two things: salthopper chips and freeze-dried hoarshrooms. neither of the things she said were helpful at all 😅 did I just get unlucky with my choices or is she more for flavor than for help with cooking effects? (I love her and her story by the way)

for everyone worried about fungal infections, good news: the first aid skill tree is getting retooled to Physic, which has a skill in it that lets you treat incubating illnesses and itchy skin for yourself and for companions to give a bonus to shrugging off the effect. and, as a more extreme measure, it has a skill that lets you amputate limbs, assuming the fungal infection set in on a limb that can be severed. then you can just give her an ubernostrum to grow it back. these changes are live on the beta branch and should be pushed to the main branch sometime soon!

@ThePossibleJerk i'm afraid not ;n; she should avoid DIRECTLY provoking sleeping slumberlings but accuracy is always a factor and once slumberlings wake up from any damage source then she'll focus on killing them even if they go back to sleep - unless you set her to defensive engagements only and tell her to move away from the slumberling. if you can manage to get everything to disengage from it long enough, it'll go back to sleep and you can continue on your merry way.

She’s so handy, even if she backstabs you repeatedly - problem is, she shot a sleeping slumberling when I was still low level, and I was sad when she died. I avenged her but she’s gone for good :( there isn’t a repeatable subquest to revive her right?
