As a Driveship the Bittercress is designed to jump vast distances in a single charge cycle, usually while transporting other vessels. It is equipped with 296 Jump Drives and 26 large nuclear reactors, which allow it to have a dry jump range of 30.000 kilometers. It posesses 20 connectors to serve as anchoring points for ships that want to be transported. Only 4 of these connectors (the central one on each side) are connected to the cargo system.
The recharging of the drives can be staggered by toggling sup-groups of the jump drives to allow for full control of the ship even immediately after a jump.
The 26 reactors are supported by a buffer of 204 batteries which can help recharge the drives faster or be turned off to act as an emergency power supply.
The reactors come filled with 50.000kg of uranium ingots each, making for a total of 1.200 tons of uranium ingots.

if i remember correctly its 12 jump drives per golden rod, actually with a few extra in other parts of the ship
