A miner drone.

(After playing around with my parts, I started a new game as a miner captain).

The drone is not that well armed, only couple of lasers for mining. But the shield + drills sure compensate the lack of firepower. It's not exactly vanilla-only parts for miner build (My bad), but you should be able to find the missing parts pretty easy in your miner captain campaign... Drone is neat at mining resourses and grinding enemies to dust.

WASD - Engines control.
Left Click - Drills.
Right Click - Lasers.
Medium Button - Shield.
Space - Magnet on the tail.
-/+ = Cooler/Heater (On numpad).

Enjoy... Just let me leave you a little advice:

Try to not over-charge the batteries. Do not use several sistems at same time. Fuel is more than enough, don't worry about it, but the energy is tricky... You can spam non-stop drills/weapons/shield, but if you use them at same time, you'll get dry really soon. So, keep an eye on drone's tail. Also, there are some afterburners hidden in the "wings". Just release W button for extra push. :}
