Description:
This isn't your run of the mill formula car. It's here, its fast, and Better than anything you've ever seen. A top speed of 301 Kilometers per hour, this vehicle is able to hold that speed around almost every corner. And where it isn't, it makes up for with record breaking acceleration. The vehicle is equipped with A maximum tuned R4 Hybrid with an air compressor for maximum performance. The air compressor increases acceleration greatly, making time from zero to max incomparable.
The XS SONIC is quite small compared to the prototype, though it is a total 500 kilograms heavier. Although, it has performance readings way above that of the original. The body manufactured primarily with polycarbonate, the same material used in the Prototype adds just enough weight to the vehicle to keep it on the ground. The main frame is still aluminum, witch has been proven to be very promising on the track. The XS now has fenders, witch unfortunately don't turn with the wheels. Speaking of turn, the XS SONIC has four wheel steering, both front and rear at 15 degrees exactly. Adding up to 30, the turning degree of the front wheels of the prototype. Study shows that putting half the steering in the rear allows the vehicle to be even more responsive and have a lower chance of oversteer, witch was an issue on the prototype. The nitrogen injected brakes were re-introduced on the SONIC, along with the flaps raising on the front. The aerodynamic wings on the sides of the vehicle have a constant 20 degree angle to give as much downforce as needed. An actual wing was placed on the rear of the vehicle, you know, to make sure it doesn't fly away. The XS Prototype lacked a speedometer, (we didnt intend to release it to the public) so we built in a Holographic racing speedometer. The red bar is the RPM meter, the speed is shown in three digits below the RPMs. Because of the cramped cockpit, the steering wheel is clear so the driver can easily see the speed of the vehicle. There is only one forward gear on the vehicle, built this way to decrease the size of the transmission.
