Description
I was unsatisfied with the lack of human subraces so I made a few of my own. I'm still new to modding on Kenshi so any constructive criticism or tips are very much welcome. I am also open to suggestions for additional subraces to add to this mod.



Three new human subraces include:

Blueblood - Bluebloods are a rare subrace of Humans. So rare, in fact, that they are thought to be a myth. They look like any other human for the most part, but their blood is a bright blue color and they are unable to grow beards. They are also known for not liking to perform menial labor jobs. Preferring instead to do more intellectual work. They have another interesting feature that is not seen in standard humans, the ability to heal themselves over time. This makes them remarkably hard to kill.

Engineered (Pretty OP but that was the plan) - The Engineered aren't exactly a subrace of humans. But they are the results of a genetic engineering experiment long ago, performed by a shadowy organization that has long since vanished. Legend has it that they were responsible for the downfall of their creators. Regardless of their origins, they have flourished on their own and have proven to be extremely capable fighters. Each and every one of them is completely bald and has orangeish red blood. Not that you are likely to ever see much of their blood. They also have been given the same self-healing ability that Bluebloods naturally have. And they are immune to all weather effects except Acid and Burning. They aren't completely invulnerable, but they are the closest thing to it.

Wraith - Wraiths are an interesting subrace of human. They are thought to be an offshoot from the Scorchlanders but they have diverged enough from them to be considered a different race in their own right. Not much is known about them due to their secretive nature. But they bleed black and the men are never seen without a beard. This may be due to cultural reasons that they haven't felt the need to divulge to the outside world, but nobody seems to know. They also seem to be immune to dust storms, probably as a result of them living primarily in the deserts for so long. One fact that is known about them is they have superior vision range over any other humans. And they are usually pretty good runners too. A few have also been seen eating rotten raw meat with no ill-effects.



No new art is added, I've just used the in-game assets and fiddled with the stats a bit. Key differences other than skills between these and the vanilla subraces is that these have different colored blood, some have intrinsic healing that happens over time, and some are immune to certain weather effects. The Engineered are a little OP but that was what I intended. The Bluebloods are basically Greenlanders with the self-healing ability and have a different skillset but are otherwise the same. Wraith are basically Scorchlanders but with a different skillset and slightly higher stats in certain areas plus an immunity to dust storms. There are a few more subtle changes to each race that makes them stand out from the vanilla ones but I'll let you figure those out for yourself. Some are hinted at in their descriptions.

The world of Kenshi lacks Slavic spirit. Kitezh-grad with characters like: three heroes, Koschei the Deathless, Baba Yaga (née healer Yadviga), Ivanushka and Vasilisa the Beautiful, Nightingale the Robber, Uncle Chernomor and his boys would be great

I believe they do spawn anywhere any of the other human subraces would spawn. It's been a while since I played the game though so I can't remember any details.

Problems with animation, I have mods for animation, and so it seemed to me a good idea

it works, and then the stats revert to the original sub race. im new to this game and idk how to fix

it most likely is conflicting with animation mods. I don't use animation mods myself. And I am completely unable to do anything with animations for this mod so I won't be patching this. I'm sorry, but my skills are limited to just doing mods with the included modding tools for the game.

i had an issue where my Engineered humans rarely did attack animations, most of the time they would just stand in a fighting stance and the enemy would take damage. I think it might be a conflict with some of the popular fighting animation mods I have.
