DOS2 is a pretty niche game. But, I feel like they'd be welcomed, so, give it a shot, who cares if they're popular or not. People will download well-made playermodels anyways and they usually don't care what game they're from. Oh also, in terms of DOS2 playermodels, Red Prince especially, because of the Steam workshop lacking any sort of proper lizard playermodels, and the ones that do exist usually lack either viewmodel arms or tail jigglebones. I have to say, this one IS pretty well made.
