Description
Created for the Channel 5 Mini Park Contest

In the salt marshes of Northern France lies a gaint rock, with a medieval town clinging to its steep slopes. After some negotiation with UNESCO, you have managed to stick some coasters on the island to pay for 'conservation' or something. Explore this 40x40 mini park based off the real island of Mont St. Michel and its 8 included attractions. Guest limit is set to 500, but the park runs well up to 1500/2000 guests. No TMTK or custom media used

Coasters
The island boasts 3 coasters, with a combined track length of over 1.8 km

The Monastry
Perched perilously at the peak of the island, the monastry has stood undefeated for over a millenia. Explore the winding corridors of the structure, and take a ride on the integrated coaster, swinging in and out of structures and caves

The Chateau
Its a normal day at the Chateau, unless youre Pierre, the unfortunate plumber tasked with repairing the ancient boiler system. If by some really unfortunate incident it should explode, be sure youre strapped tightly into the relevant coaster to convert the explosion to kinetic energy. Also youre not getting paid for this . Yay

Saltflat Scouts
The Island is surrounded by marsh, and as the water level can vary by up to 14m between high and low tide, the land surrounding the island will peek above water for extended periods of time. To monitor the shifting flows of water, youre tasked with taking a train up the hill and monitoring how the currents change.

Flat Rides
The park boasts no less than 5 flat rides to complement its selection of coasters

The Lost Brotherhood
Theres is something weird lurking beneath the island. As a brave youngling, you decide you want to explore these rumors. You stumble across a lost passage, hidden behind a crypt wall. You slip, and cut open your arm on the rough stone walls, blood drips onto the marble... Altar? There is a strange energy in the air, that doesnt stop you climbing into a strange chariot though. Little do you know it will be your doom...

The Armory
The island functions extremely well as a fort, but forts need munitions, which are stored in the armory. Sadly, the locals cant seem to stop the oil barrels from leaking. Oh well, what could possibly go wrong?

The Harbourmaster
For those preferring a more gentle ride, take a trip on the Harbourmaster's carousel, fun for the entire family.

Cave du Vin
(Probably butcherd this, sorry) The perfect drunkenness simulator. Works best if you consume a bottle of wine beforehand.

Fortifications
Take a swing on the weird looking trebuchet up on the wall.

I hope you all enjoy this as much as I enjoyed building it, if you have and comments/feedback please leave it below!

Loved it. Can't wait to see Jonny get lost in there. As a French guy who knows le Mont-Saint-Michel, I was amazed to see the level of details.

And you're right, you butchered it, we would say "Cave à vin" ;D

Thanks Zarr0c! It was a lot of planning and squeezing yes, took a lot of trial and error to get some stuff to work.

Masterful work! Well done!

I'm amazed you were able to put so many rides on that little island and theme it so well. You must have spent quite some time getting the clearances of the costers and paths right. It's very difficult to built small buildings and theme them from the inside as well. But you did it very well. The monastery and the queue line leading up to it are staggering!

Masterful work! Incredible amount of details! Love the winding, sloping cobblestone paths and the closely packed buildings! There are little narrow pathways and hidden alcoves all over the city. I also like the triggered doors that open when the rides are over. The hidden Lost Brotherhood ride was quite a surprise, especially where it comes out up top! The tightly woven coasters with custom supports and scenic passages are perfect! The whole thing is a delight to explore!
