My entry for the Thinking With Portals 'Picture Perfect' competition.

I used a flat black and white style to explore the imagery and famous motifs of Art Deco, a visual arts style I've been obsessed with recently.

It was a 9-day competition where the focus was purely on visuals - no puzzles, no gameplay, just eye candy. I was only able to work for 4 of the 9 days, and even then only intermittently, but I'm fairly pleased with what I managed to get done considering.
