Point taken @hornetcorset. I appreciate the content creators for their knowledge and especially their time they put in their leisure hours, I am sure, to create enjoyable alterations and additions to the games I also love.

You can change the description of a mod manually through steam.

@DarJohnSlayer Honestly, if you want a good way to broach the subject, you can follow HavocCultist's example. Your approach to both the comments you've made here is... passive-aggressive.

On the subject of learning what the mod does, you could've read the comment that OP posted, "It combines the seasons of despair and visions into one verb, making it easier to balance your fascination, dread, and contentment." Given there were only 5 comments at the time, none of which were very long, I don't think there was any need to have asked in the first place.

The main thing is to try to be sensitive about the feelings of content creators. That's what I meant by "Please try not to be dicks". They work hard to make things they can be proud of and other people can enjoy. They're often discouraged by people requesting or demanding things that are going to require (sometimes significantly) more work. When they get discouraged, that means less, worse new content, and fewer content creators.

@hornetcorset. Your reply to my posting is exactly thje reason i almost never post. You are calling me a dic( for apparently asking the OP what the Mod exactly does when enabled? Seeing as how this thread pertains to conversations about this particular mod's functionality, then maybe you can suggest the polity and proper way that I can formally address my question to the OP. Will you bring the case and will there be assigned seating

@DarJohnSlayer @HavocCultist @Azreal DuCain I created a discussion post that explains the mod. OP said that the description thing is a problem with CultSim and I happen to know for a fact that's an actual issue that exists. Please try not to be dicks about it to ANY CultSim mod authors.

One main verb that runs by itself is the yellow one that consumes 1 fund per each timer or season. As the seasons change the new season interacts with specific aspects on cards if they are present on your board. The Season of Despair, for example, will automatically grab a "Dread" card with its magnet and process via the timer. When the timer expires it will automatically grab a 2nd dread card, if available, or it will grab a contentment card that will essentially offset the dread that was previously processed.
Another season, and these are not the only 2 seasons, is the Seas of Visions that uses its magnet to automatically grab a Fascination card if present on your board. After processing for a revolution it will magnet grab Dread or Fleeting Reminiscence which will negate the Fascination once finished processing.
What does this mod do exactly? No idea

The way the game sets the description for this page based on the short version of the mod's in-game description instead of the long one isn't ideal either.

I'd advise explaining more about what the Season of Balance does in the description. It's not ideal to need to read the comments to know what a mod does.

It combines the seasons of despair and visions into one verb, making it easier to balance your fascination, dread, and contentment.

What does the season of balance DO? I would like to know without having to download the mod in order to find out. That way I can decide whether I want to or not.
