C10-T1 Skipper II.B [1.0]

Description
Summary: Early-game expandable Warp-capable T1 Capital Vessel optimized to be the most cost-effective first CV for early survival gameplay. Coming in well below the T1 limit even if you add a Warp Drive, this little brute has a lot to offer. Gain entry from the bottom-facing elevator, or dual rear corridors from the docking tail if landed at an angle.

Skipper II Improves on the Skipper I design by adding space for Growing Plots, at the cost of a little bottom armor thickness, thruster protection, maybe some design coolness, and slightly increased ship size. Skipper II.B refines the Skipper II design (link: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2193934760) by shifting around the internal space, actually allowing us to upgrade the 3 x small generators to 1 x large, shave 1 block off the height, and improve overall armor coverage a bit while only increasing CPU by about 600.

PROTIP: For docking an HV and an SV to the tail, first land with the nose 25 to 30 degrees above the horizon on relatively flat ground to turn the tail into a ramp for easy HV loading, enter via rear docking tail door to level out, and then dock your SV to the bottom (possibly upside down, see included pics).

Additional Notes:
- Well under T1 CPU limit, slightly exceeds if you add a Warp Drive and Polarized Hull Shield (208k, 92%)
- Clearly marked placeholders for T2 upgrade, Warp Drive Offline Protection, and Polarized Hull Shield in plain sight
- No Zascosium, Erestrum, or Sathium required for base model; scavenge some Sathium Plates from a wrecked CV to gather enough Sathium to add on a Warp Drive, and you can add a Hull Shield after refining about 60 each of the other minerals
- Can easily add bottom thrusters to handle heavy planets without sacrificing thruster protection
- Plenty of cargo space for an entry-level CV

@The Salty Snake You may find my Scouter-9000 SV useful in the extreme early game as well, it is comical, but the production cost is so low that I find I can't afford to NOT use it when I start a new game. I've been using that and my Wild Boar SV a lot in the first stages, then either this or Skipper I.C as my first CV.

That's cool RedScourge. I was just interested in your ship due to its design but when I do restart I'll try your build in Reforged Galaxy Escape from Purgatory.

@The Salty Snake Thanks for checking out my designs. I've been making a few variants of similar modular T1 CVs lately, after discovering how few CVs on the Workshop are viable for new survival game starts, particularly on multiplayer, where access to the higher metals is often extremely limited, or impossible to get without first building a starter CV and going all over the place to do a ton of mining first. I have made 5 so far, Skipper 1 (no farm plots) has 3 variants and Skipper 2 now has 2. These are a little derpy looking because they're so small and pack so much in them, but next I am hoping to make a somewhat larger T2 CV that can be upgraded to T3 or maybe T4 as well.

Looks like a clubhouse. Cool.
