EpsTweak for Civic Units

Description
EpsTweak is a series of small mods that tweak the balance of Civ 6. Rather than put all of them into one hefty package, I've split them into small fragments to allow you to make your own custom rulesets.

I remember all the way back when Civ 6 was announced, and they revealed a separate Civics Tree, I was excited. Finally! Science isn't the only way to make an army! You can devote to culture and still get units to defend yourself with! And then the game came out, with a sum total of... (drumroll)
... one. Combat unit.

So let's rectify that. This mod adds 4 new units that unlock in the Civics Tree:

Landsknecht Pikeman: Anti-Cavalry unit with 43 Strength that unlocks at Mercenaries. Costs 40% less upfront than a regular Pikeman, but three times as much Gold per turn to maintain. Can move after attacking.

Landsknecht Pike & Shot: Upgraded version of the Landsknecht with 51 strength that unlocks at Mercantilism. Is also cheap upfront and expensive to maintain, and can move after attacking.

Templar Knight: A version of the Knight with 47 Strength that can only be purchased with Faith in a Shrine. Unlocked at Divine Right and requires Iron. Has +5 Combat Strength if with 1 tile of a Religious unit.

Commando: Very expensive Melee unit with 80 Strength that unlocks at Ideology. Requires a Military Academy to make, and cannot be purchased with Gold. But does not use any resource. Can Paradrop and ignores enemy Zone of Control.

NOTE: Yes, I have tried making the Landsknechts only purchasable with Gold. For some reason that doesn't work.

No, they use the Infantry model. I don't have 3D modelling skills.

Do the Commando unit have a unique model? Is there a screenshot anywhere?

Okay, I can see what you're saying. Another option would be to make Kotoku-In available in an earlier era (and only 400 Production), as one outdated mod did. The Grand Master's Chapel generally comes too late for Monks to be relevant, so we are left with either them being a nifty little niche thing for one civ, or we make them available to all. I can dig the first, but the latter option certainly solves the issue for good. Given that martial arts warriors have been a real thing all over the world, it makes sense. And given that I have played bachillions of hours of Civ 6 and NEVER gotten or particularly wanted Monks (because of how useless they are when they arrive, or that I couldn't never get or justify getting the requisite Religious Belief) it'd be nice to finally play with these cool little dudes.

Just once, dear lord, just once! I wanna be able to wear the t-shirt that says "Been there, Monked that, Got the robes!" Ya dig? Can I get a high five high kick, brother?

Generally speaking, Warrior Monks don't need to be available to everyone, because either your using the unmodded Grand Master's Chapel and can buy any land unit with faith anyway, or you use the modded version and then Templar Knights become available at roughly the same timing. As such, Warrior Monks need their own unique niche, and being tied to a belief is such a niche.

This mod would be a cool place to add the Monk purchasable by Faith. I know you have a cool mod that overhauls the Monk well (but isn't available to all players, only through the Religious Belief) and MadCamMan had one ("More Monks") that was let everyone use Monks, but he hasn't updated in 5 years (hence, "das ist kaput"), so I figure here would be a simple place to add Monks purchasable by Faith, like your Templar unit is.

By the way, I dig this mod and these units. It'd be cooler with any sort of variation in the art, beit color or figurine. For example, the S.A.S.R. would be a perfect reflection of the Royal Para/U.S. Ranger thing you're trying to do with the Commando.

P.S. The reduced strength of the first three units makes sense historically and game balance wise.

Fairly straightforward to do that. But this mod is focused on adding things, rather than changing existing ones.

Hmmm... would it be possible by chance if France's imperial guard could be updated to the civics?

Cool, thank you!!

Already did.

Sorry to bother, but could you update the combat strength on these units to reflect the balance updates to their Tech Tree counterparts in the latest patch?
