PRR RF-16 A Sharknose tuscan red

The Baldwin RF-16 Sharknose was a diesel locomotive built by Baldwin in the early 1950's. Primarily used to haul freight and especially pull coal drags it became known as a rugged and reliable locomotive.

The sharknose styling was applied to differentiate the locomotives from their competitors that more or less followed the same body design philosophies. This made them very unique looking locomotives.

This Locomotive is a single engine unit passenger locomotive pulling a set of heavyweights, perfect for shorter routes.
