Description
The KR-211 is an original design based on various general aviation light aircraft. It's main advantage is it's STOL capability (Short Take-Off and Landing).
First time featuring instruments in the cockpit, the grey switch shows flap position, the red one is for the wheel brakes.
The take-off flap stage increases lift for a slight loss in speed. You can also use it for slow flying. The landing stage increases lift and drag alot and will therefor also limit speed. Beware that you wont be able to climb in this flap configuration!
You shouldn't taxi faster than 20km/h or around 15% power to avoid tipping over in turns.

  • top speed: 68 km/h
  • minimum speed: 26 km/h
  • weight: 100.75 kg
  • maximum payload: 65kg
  • dimensions: 4.00m x 5.98m x 1.23m
  • Partcount: 52

  • 0.4:1 scale, very small
  • speed, height and roll indicator instruments
  • pitch, roll and yaw trim with reset button
  • Takeoff & Brake stage flaps
  • hold/toggle wheel brakes
outside brake indicators (red markers on landing gear)
  • ground yaw stabilisation through wheelbraking
  • Ground steering
  • Short runway needed for take-off and landing

Might be cause I build my planes in 0.4:1 scale, the game aerodynamics work slightly differnt on bigger scales. Although I might upload future replica planes in 0.8:1 or 1:1 for more accouracy.

Your creations are small and nimble while mine are big and clunky.
