This is an asset of the "Rogier" tower in Brussels, Belgium. This is part of a bigger belgian collection. This asset was encouraged by the generation city community, french-speaking community of city builder: https://www.forum-gc.com/ . There are some wonderfull inspirations and librairies there, you should check it out.

Cet asset de la Tour Rogier de Bruxelles a été designé et recommandé par la communauté de génération-city que vous pouvez consultez à ce lien: https://www.forum-gc.com/ Si vous êtes fans de city builders, c'est la bonne adresse.

Context

Please don’t hesitate to comment and give me your opinion of the possible improvements I could do, as well as encouragements, this will be highly considerated.

I’m planning to design other Belgian buildings as well as some other heart strokes but don’t hesitate to propose good challenges.

Asset Details

5x5 Level 2 Unique Building

Main :
1024x1024 textures
2950 tris

LOD :
512x512 textures
165 tris

The " glass" prop is required to make the entrance looks realistic Other such as vents are purely esthetical.

Info:
“ Tour Rogieri” in French, “Rogier Toren » in Flemish, is a very unique building in the center of Brussels, Belgium. It is one of the only building in the world with a roof made with only glass. It was built in 2001 and designed by Philippe Samyn and Michel Jaspers to replace the old Rogier "Martini" Tower. Definitely one of my favourite in belgium so far, hope you will like it.

Special thanks:
- Sakuro for testing and providing amazing screenshots of the asset
- N atsukan for testing and giving precious advices.
- Generation city community for their encouragements
- Globally, french city designers community for their precious advice

@MikeDV First thank you a lot for your comment, it means a lot to get feedbacks. It is true that i could think about reducing textures sizes, even though those aren't huge buildings I could reduce it for the LOD version. Concerning the floors, I tried to represent it as realistic as possible, don't think adding few floors will make a big change.
But anyway, i'm planning to do an other version in the future, especially for the illumination map, gonna think about your comment.

I agree for the other buildings in Brussels, some are really good challenges such as Belgacom Towers. When it comes to the palace of justice or jubelpark, i hope some day i will have the level to do that, i'm learning fast though. Don't hesitate to contact me in private if you have other challenges in mind :)

Really awesome to see the Rogiertoren in CS! One suggestion, maybe you could make the texture smaller as it seems a bit too big. The real one has 38 floors this one seems to have between 20-25 floors.
Would be cool to see almost all towers of BXL in CS so we can recreate a small version of Brussels! A good challenge would be the Palace of justice or the arch at Jubelpark.

@𝓴𝓮𝓭𝓸𝓾 21 I decided to put prop lights on it because, so far, illumination maps do not do the job i wanted. Still learning, maybe i ll update it.

@Mik_Kael Merci à toi ! Oui j'en ai plusieurs en projet, l'arteveldetoren qui arrive bientot notamment. N'hésite pas à m'en proposer également.
