Golden Buddha Shrine

When the Shaolin monks travelled to the stars, they travelled light and with few possessions, with Buddha always in their heart.

The monks however always travelled, constantly moving from planet to planet, star to star, because they knew no home.

An accident befell a ship whilst travelling between the stars and a monk saved the life of an artist.

In return, the artist carved this giant golden statue out of the very rocks that their ship had crashed into.

The statute has since become revered, necessitating the protective shell it now resides in, to prevent those greedy enough to want to mine the statute of it rare minerals.
