The Bound Floater was once human, but changed by the use of genetic alteration, extensive mechanical modifications and brain surgery.

The Bound Floater is Violent in nature and armed with a pair of insect like arms and a plasma gun on its underside.

The Bound Floater's creator remains unknown, but it is theorised that, unlike The Bound, the Bound Floater was created deliberately as a form of weapon, or some kind of prototype drone.
