TEC - Sunguard EC-102


TEC's second Dawnstar-class command carrier. Immediately looks identical to her predecessor, however minor and major alterations means this ship is quite different.
Equipped with Weaponcore armaments: 2x300 & 3x300mm Battle Cannons, M61 Vulcans, 40mm Bofors, Homing Launchers and standard Rocket Launchers.

Sunguard has also been equipped with several extra cannon emplacements on the ventral fore and aft hull, as well as several more homing launchers on the bed of the dorsal hull. The extra weight of these weapons means she is slightly slower than her sister ship Dawnstar, however she more than makes up for it in a fight.

Boasts a large hangar capable of housing an number of support craft. 8 garages can dock up to 16 fighters in it's main hold, 2 transports in it's secondary launch bay, and has enough space to accommodate more in emergency situations. The dorsal hull has external 8 docking ports for rapid deployment.

The transport bay has been expanded into "dead space" left in the design, in addition to the repair bay featured on Dawnstar, has been refitted into a second, larger transport hangar, now both capable of housing 2 medium sized auxiliary craft.

Features an internally reinforced Combat Information Center, a number of crew quarters, a security office and holding cells, a large cargo capacity, twin refinery and assembly systems, deuterium and azimuth reactors.

Further empty space within the design has afforded 2 extra cargo bays, each equipped with an additional assembler for faster manufacturing.


NOTES:
For those who cannot or do not wish to run too many mods, the ship can run without the following:
> Weaponcore (Weapons will not work)
> Weaponcore Battle Cannons (Will not be armed aside from 12 foward facing Rocket Launchers)
> Transporters (Does not effect ship offensive or defensive capabilities)
> Rotary Airlock (Ship will not be pressurised until doors are replaced)
> Decorative 1&2, Frostbite, SotF DLC (Some blocks will be missing, but can be replaced with vanilla)
> Diagnostic Script is not essential to the ships running
> Enterprise Cockpit and Engineering (Helm, Ops and some consoles will need replacing)

The must have mod is essential for ship structural integrity:
> Armour Ramps

It is advisable to run for power output, however enough vanilla reactors could potentially replace the following:
> Azimuth Pack
> Deuterium
