Killing Billies

Description
This is my first PTTR Map!

Here is my tribute to Kill Bill, so perfectly suited for Paint The Town Red.

It's fairly faithful to the original set, but some compromises have been made here and there. It's relatively tough but easy to develop a winning strategy, and beat it.

Credits:
Jamie P - My good friend and neighbour for his excellent work on the musical score.
ApcMax - For his Asia males & females pack. This saved me time and suits the map.
Samuel - My step son for helping me get to grips with the Discord pttr group.
Nathan - My son for testing the level and constantly hassling me to publish it!
South East Games - For fixing the duplication limit, otherwise this level could not be finished!

If the developers are listening, I'd like to promote a few items on my wishlist...
1) Adjustable transparency as a material option.
2) Sound effect prop with loop and proximity triggers
3) Create-able Sound effects packs for above.
4) Confirmation of save complete in level editor
5) More accurate prop selection (I know it's made progress, but it's not there yet)
6) Ability to name grouped objects.
7) A prop inspector list when multiple items are selected with checkboxes to deselect some.
8) Create-able prop packs.

This feels more than "fairly faithful" to the original set, it's practically perfect down to the accents. Truly a love letter to the film, thank you for gracing us with this.

It's made from primitives, simply scaled and rotated into position. There are quite a few guides already on youtube for PTTR and primitives. Join the discord channel as well, you will find us a very helpful bunch.

I have to ask, how do you do all this room detailing? I'm thinking of making a Japan-esque level myself and I want to pull off the depth in walls and flooring you did in this level. Are you going to consider making a tutorial or guide on this? If so, that'd be a huge help for people looking to make high-quality maps!

Dillonator, thanks buddy. About 3 months work. Agree the film needs a nod of respect too!

Absolutely outstanding map! 100% screen accurate recreation, I love every bit of this! I had a lot of fun finishing off the crazy 88 and the rest of the lot. I even killed Gogo with a chair, which I don't know was intentional or not, but if it was, then you're the best person in existence.

This is just.. wow. The amount of detail put into this is out of this world. This is so well-made that it doesn't even seem like a workshop level. My guy, you are just simply amazing. Mad props!
