Strict Diets - New Traits Mod & Modding Guide

Description
Just a quick mod for me to start testing how to add custom traits and art assets. Feel free to take a look at the code if you're interesting in modding yourself. The video linked above is an explanation of how to mod in CK3 using atom.io and how I made this mod specifically.

I figured rather than just make something completely useless I'd make the traits somewhat novel and fun.

This mod adds two new traits: Strict Vegetarian, and Strict Carnivore. They add +1 Learning and +1 Prowess respectively, and they have custom art. The chance of getting these traits naturally is quite low, but there's also chance they can be passed onto your children.

If this mod gets popular some some bizarre reason then I may expand the scope of this mod to make the traits affect things like going on hunts, add positive opinion buffs based on religion, and maybe add other types of strange diets too. Who knows?

Anyway if you enjoy don't forget to leave a positive rating or a comment. Cheers!

This mod is released under a CC by 3.0 license. (You are free to share and adapt this work, under the condition that you give proper credit and also release under a CC by 3.0 license).

Hi @ZerkerDruid yeah I haven't had time to update any of my mods recently, and I haven't been playing CK3 much either. But this mod is explicitly under creative commons license, so anyone can take it and improve on it if they like.

Been awhile since someone commented or mod was updated, just wanted to express interest since I think concept has a lot of potential, special diets to be virtuous to certain faiths, etc.

If you have no further plans for this mod I understand completely, but I'd love it if you'd be willing to let someone take over or revive the mod in the future. If nobody else is interested, I might be willing to try my hand learning ck modding just to do so.

could we get some life expectancy and health traits dubbed "healthy traits" that come in various different levels and can only be improved by pursuing a super healthy lifestyle, aka doing events with a small chance of improving your health like making the choice to do health improving stuff like excercising regularly for 5 years, and depending on various factors, like your current health, and your martial, etc. You have a higher or lower chance of improving your body, mind, and/or soul in some way or a chance to pull a muscle or something. there are various ways to improve health like dieting, meditating, excercising, and each one has various thresholds with various levels of difficulty to achieve health benefits from, which will in turn improve life expectancy, health, and some stats

I'm going to learn some other things first, as well as enjoy just playing the game as is for a bit. But I like these suggestions and I'll get around to them soon. Thanks for 100 subs! :O

I think neph's suggestion below is a great one. Imagine triggering an event at a feast where you accidentally feed pork to a Jewish ruler or something. Lots of potential here.

IIRC, Buddhists are required to be vegetarians in real life. Perhaps you can add that in to this mod somehow?

Or perhaps make dietary restrictions as part of religious tenants? Such as no pork for Jews or Muslims?
