30 years ago today (excluding the preview months earlier), an animated series with its anthropomorphic characters based on those from The Jungle Book was first broadcasted on Disney Channel as part of The Disney Afternoon. And now to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Talespin, the show’s iconic aircraft has made her debut for the first time in Source Filmmaker and Garry’s Mod world!

Sea Duck (otherwise known as Conwing L-16) is a twin-boomed seaplane, which is piloted by Baloo, as well as owned by Higher for Hire, a cargo delivery company run by Rebecca Cunningham. She is also one of the fastest and most famous aircraft around. In the course of her travels, the Sea Duck has flown through waterfalls and volcanoes, been riddled with bullets from Air Pirate attacks, lost both engines, been converted into a Thembrian condo, painted blue and sold as a fifty-cent lawn ornament, submerged underwater for an entire week, and completely rebuilt at least once. Always brought back by Baloo the same "mean, clean flying machine," the Sea Duck is unquestionably the greatest plane in the skies.

About this model (pack)

This model was modified and combined from two different existing sources, with cockpit, interior and landing gears modeled by myself, as well as reskinning the whole plane, and the nose of the plane has been completely rebuilt. You may find out some interior features are missing from the TV series, that is because I want to keep this model simple and lighter poly when subscribe to SFM/Gmod, and also save time on modeling. The landing gears are animation sequences, and the skin consists of normal and battle-damaged version of the Sea Duck. So it can reenact the Air Pirate attacks or other adventures throughout the Talespin episodes.

This plane is a floatable model and comes with a separate propeller. For now I couldn’t make this a vehicle for Gmod Workshop. But in order to make this plane flyable, you may need mods such as ACF stuff, Fin 2 and Wiremod etc, as well as making wings and tails using Gmod plates then hide them.
