Inspiration & Design Notes: an attempt at mixing design features present in the Humvee and Warthog, the visual aesthetic is more German ultra-light APC (I blame the influences of Warthunder and Steel Division: Normandy 44). Regardless, it serves as a compact light armed recon vehicle and is lightweight enough to be carried by a maglock system on the tails of the various Pelican replicas in the workshop. As a fan of logistics and interoperability, the LRTV and AIB share the same primary weapon design, expect more standardised weapons packages in future models and variants. While the engine compartment has some room for increased automation, the rear undercarriage where the turret computer is located has a great deal more room for expansion.

The repulsor pods are massively overpowered and had to be fine-tuned and balanced to support the LRTV-1's light chassis; heavier weapons upgrades to the turret can expect to require a similar rebalancing, but never find the base vehicle lacking in suspension. This thing has something like a 2000% lift to weight ratio at full power- I'd put in smaller repulsors if they looked good, but they don't. The current floor limit is ~1.6m, any lower and the vehicle will suffer from an annoying bounce effect, which is also why the main hovercraft computer is configured to 19% repulsor power- fiddle with the settings at your own risk. Once damage models are added for collision, I'll likely need to install a sub-repulsor package and programming for softer landings.
