Description
The seventh in my series of fully scripted games, it's Startups [Fully Scripted]!

Instructions
  • Press the "Start Game" button when all players are seated.
  • On your turn:
    • Click either the deck or a card from the center to take a card.
    • Click a card in your hand to select it.
    • Click the center or your play area to play the card.
That's it. The game has you covered for everything else. Enjoy!

Description from BGG
There are six companies that will change the world as we know it! You can be part of their success and be a investor. Try to become rich by making the right decisions!

Only the one biggest investor can get money out of each company. You must try to read the next steps of your rivals and use your capital and your three hidden cards to win against them and become the biggest shareholder!

You have to be lucky in this game but you must also think about your moves and analyze your rivals! You can play this card game with only a few players but also with many!

Other Game Recommendations
If you like puzzle games, Apotheca [Fully Scripted] is a great one that plays in only 10-20mins. It plays differently at every player count, and I plan to add solo mode soon.

If you like quick and random card games, Fuji Flush [Fully Scripted] has been touted as sort of an Uno killer. Plays up to 8 players and features Computer AI.

Closing Comments
If you run into any issues or errors, please post the error message/issue. I'm also open to any suggestions.

Let me know in the comments what game I should fully script next.

@chicken noodle soup

It's part of the rules to remove 5 cards randomly during setup. A copy of the rulebook is on the table if you want to read it.

There's only 40 cards in the gameplay, is there a way to fix it?

@Arthur

Thanks, glad you enjoy them! The bots were a bit tricky to make initially for Azul, but I just ported them over for all my other mods that feature them. The harder thing is making a mod 100% automated. If you do that, you just need to tell the game what to do on bot turns.

I really enjoy your series of fully scripted games! I was just wondering how did you make the bots? Is it a difficult task?

Hey, I love playing this against the AI when my friends aren't on. It's very addictive.

Recently, I started getting this error in chat randomly during the AI's turn:

Error in Script (Global): chunk_3:(1608,4-1610,38):attempt to index a nil value

And the AI stop doing anything.

When the error appears, it appears right above 'Computer drew a card from the top of the pile. x cards left.' so maybe it's related to them drawing a card?
