If you're not experienced with modding and/or not sure how to do this then let me know and I'll be happy to post a more detailed guide.
Unfortunately it is still incompatible with achievements. This is because the mod still needs to edit certain files for it to work and thus cannot be changed/fixed.
Minor changes have been made to Old Saxon, giving them northern unit sprites and generally switiching their graphics to a Scandinavian/Northern European selection.
Frisian has been switched from a Central Germanic to a West Germanic heritage and now uses northern unit sprites and clothing, as well as northern buildings.
Frisian has been added as an additional parent culture for Anglo-Saxon. Historically, it is generally accepted that Frisians made up a sizeable portion of Germanic settlers in England during the Migration Period and the West Frisian language is the closest living relative of English (aside from Scots).
I noticed that the divergent cultures of Norse (Danish, Norwegian and Swedish) now use Continental European graphics. If people want me to switch them back to northern graphics, let me know and I'll add it to the mod.
Luckily, now that the Scandinavian cultures have their own building graphics, the mod structure is much simpler (thus smaller file size) now since I can just utilise a vanilla graphical culture instead of having to create a whole new one. Although I have still opted to keep the old wooden castle design since (like @constantin) I prefer it to the vanilla one.
With northern-themed vanilla assets now in the game, this means that the Anglo-Saxons and Celts will now use the new wooden building models (and new northern ambient sounds!) on the map instead of the generic Western European ones. Towns also now use the new northern graphic in the province interface instead of the default one it used before.
Other than this, all other graphical changes (such as clothing and unit models) should be as they were in the previous version.
Hope you all enjoy these additions and apologies for the delay!
thanks you.
