Description

GriftlandsExpanded

Mod for Griftlands that expands the game by adding new cards, grafts, and bosses.
The goal is to allow new interesting builds or playstyles and to increase gameplay variety.

Currently Added

20 battle and 10 negotiation cards for Sal

20 battle and 10 negotiation cards for Rook

2 battle and 2 negotiation grafts for Sal

2 battle and 2 negotiation grafts for Rook

3 new bosses for Sal's story

2 new bosses for Rook's story

Item rewards for killing the new bosses

Generous amount of typos and inconsistent formatting

Installation Guides:

Github version

0. Delete the old version of the mod first

1. Download the mod at https://github.com/JuniorElder/GriftlandsExpanded
2. Go to "[user]/AppData/Roaming/Klei/Griftlands/"
(it should contain save folder, log.txt, and other game files)
3. Open the folder consisting of alphanumeric characters
(it looks something like this: "72619hh2dd464m81" or "steam-72619hh2dd464m81")
4. Create a new folder called "mods"
5. Unzip "GriftlandsExpanded-master" folder into "mods" folder
6. Open the game and enable the mod in mod manager

If it doesn't work put the "mods" folder directly into "[user]/AppData/Roaming/Klei/Griftlands/"

Steam version

1. Subscribe to the mod
2. Open the game and enable the mod in mod manager

Compatibility

Intended and tested for the experimental version of the game. Use it with the main branch at your own risk.
I can't guarantee complete compatibility with other mods, but feel free to try.

Feedback and Troubleshooting

Any kind of feedback is extremely welcome as I don't have enough time for testing and so I often miss a lot of bugs and problems with the mod. Just please keep in mind that this is a work of a single person so do not expect a perfect balance.

Also if you enjoy the mod please give it a like, it's nice to know that my work is appreciated and that it isn't a complete waste of my time.

All the art, animations, and sounds are taken from the game and belong to Klei.

Can you make new cards and grafts for Smith? And update this mod? You cool!

Thanks for the report and kind words, I didn't realize that the story mode added a new level of difficulty and that's what was causing problems on high prestige. I've uploaded a quick fix that should deal with that.
Also in the upcoming update most of the bosses will be reworked, which will hopefully deal with similar oversights.

I had a crash during Sal's day 1 Guardian Automech boss fight. The crash log mentioned a problem on line 156 of the boss's lua file. After looking at it I noticed that the boss's "Revitalization" attack was trying to perform math.floor on the entire "defend_amount" table rather than a number in the table.

Sorry if this is something you already patched and the steam version is just a little outdated, but I thought I should let you know anyway.

There is no up-to-date list since it became too tedious to update with each patch. But I've added my latest but still obsolete list to the Steam images. Just remember that some cards have been changed/removed/added.
If things go well I will try to upload a new one after the next patch.
