[PAC 3] RadioShack S.A.M.E NOAA Weather Radio

Description
This is a PAC 3 Model of the RadioShack S.A.M.E 7 Channel Programmable NOAA Weather Radio.

FUNCTIONALIY:

This radio plays a stream of the NOAA Weather Radio. The stream is toggle-able and can be toggled either on or off by pressing the "g" key. To do this, type: bind g "pac_event g 2" into your console to be able to toggle the stream.

There is a functioning alarm and lights on the radio as well. To activate the lights and alarms, repeat the step above by pasting:

bind h "pac_event h 2" -> Statement Light

bind j "pac_event j 2" -> Watch Light

bind k "pac_event k 2" -> Warning Light

bind Alt "pac_event Alt 2" -> Alert Tone

(Plays correct RadioShack alert tone now!!!)

By default, this radio is tuned to KIG79 162.55 Nashville because I live there. You can change this by going to any website that streams NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts and copy the audio address and throw that URL as the Webaudio URL in the PAC 3 Editor.

The Audio Address should look something like this: http://radio.weatherusa.net/NWR/KIG79.mp3

I mainly use 2 websites for my streams:

http://worldradiomap.com/

https://www.weatherusa.net/radio

The lights and alarm DO NOT activate automatically and are there purely for show. It is possible to code something that listens to a stream and alerts if an EAS Broadcast is detected, however, I don't know how to do that.

If you'd like to change the keys that activate the lights or alarm, go into the events under the sprites and change the "find" key at the very bottom of the configuration settings.

Made by Lime Cat. If you need any help, feel free to contact.
NOTICE: Not all areas have NOAA Weather Radio streams and some aren't of the best quality. It is best to keep the webaudio volume of the radio stream to 1 and the Alarm stream to .5 or lower.

KNOWN ISSUES: Pressing G to toggle the stream not only stops the audio, but the live stream as well. Therefor, leaving the radio off for more than a few seconds can leave the stream seriously behind the actual broadcast IRL. To fix this, simply re-wear the PAC and it should be live again.

alert tone is literally a YT rip I got into an MP3 and uploaded to dropbox/drive.

You can fix it by doing the same and copying the drive link for the audio file into the webaudio of the PAC 3. The command is probably broken too but I cant remember how to fix that.

@Windows

I think it was sProps. It's been years and I don't do Gmod PAC3 anymore. So I can't tell you exactly. Hope this helps

@totally not a engineer guy

Sorry if it's broken.
I no longer play Garry's Mod or do PAC 3.
Does the model data even appear in the pac editor?
If it does, feel free to try and fix it and re-upload or something.
If it doesn't, is your pac worn? Click the menu for wear and click wear. Or click the wear button in Utilities > PAC 3.
