Hat Kid Unleashed

- Requirements: NO Hats or Badges needed whatsoever (in fact, you cannot even use them in this level)


You can only play as Hat Kid!!! Trying to use Bow Kid or other custom mod characters could break the main player model.


Set your FPS limit to 60 or higher. Having it too low can cause some issues.

Gotta go fast, just like a certain blue-blur in this fast paced level inspired by Mr. Brawls' Time Rift Zone, which was in turn inspired by fatiz' Sanic hat, made way back when.


After a brief tutorial on your custom powers designed specifically for this level, race from start to finish as fast as you can to get the best Rank for your performance.


Features include:

- A Boost System (modern Sonic style): accelerate instantly and move faster while boosting! Collect Pons to refill your Boost Gauge.

- Improved Homing Attack (again, just like modern Sonic): longer range, faster execution, easily chainable, can target some non-enemies as well.

- Light Speed Dash: zoom along lines of Pons like lightning.

- Grinding: Move across rails... I mean, Ziplines with style.

- Boost Rings and Dash Pads: 2 more ways to go fast with style. :D

- Ranking system: Get a rank from E to S depending on your time. Can you prove that you're the best?

- ????????????? (Ooh, this must be some kind of big secret! Keep your eyes peeled after the Result Screen for any signs leading to its whereabouts!)



There are a total of 9 Rift Tokens to collect!

5 of them are hidden throughout the main course (like Red Rings),

3 you can get for achieving the top 3 Ranks,

and there's 1 more hidden somewhere in the Tutorial.

Try to get them all. ;)
