Comet II & III Railcar (NJT)

Description
This mod introduces NJT's Comet II & III railcars into Transport Fever 2.

Comet II:
- Top Speed: 90 mph
- Seats: 23
- Availability: 1970

Comet III:
- Top Speed: 124 mph
- Seats: 23
- Availability: 1990

Note: Cab cars will only lead the train if the locomotive is reversible.

Known issues: Headlight meshes bleed when viewed from a distance. I'm working on a fix.

The GSI G70 bogies were provided by Maik (models) and Skyjoe (textures). They’re gratefully used here with permission. Couplers courtesy of modelcitizen.

Can you make a MARC variant of this?

I've had a fiddle with the files, and it seems to be to do with the middle range LOD. I extended the close one from 100 to 400 and the lighting issue has gone. So either there's something wrong with that specifically, or its a TPF2 issue messing with the lights on that model.

Also to note, in one of my "I've been looking at these for hours, how didn't I notice that until now" moments. I've just now noticed the coach numbers on the sides are missing.

@AshHill07 I see what you're seeing. It's weird. And it's not happening on my M1/M3 set. I'm looking into it...

@Minor HD Good luck with that.

@coffeecat450 I've got my graphics set to max, and these are (as far as I've noticed at least) the only stock I run that has this issue.

@AshHill07 I have the same problem with most locomotives, it's just render distance problem, it depends on the graphics settings you have on, as long as the lights change back as they get closer it's working as it should...

From a certain distance, the red taillights on the coaches seem to slowly change to white.
Also, at a certain distance, all of the lights on the ends of the coaches come on (Both on the cab car and regular coaches). I did wonder if it was because I'd messed around with the sound files but I'm pretty sure they were doing it before I changed them.

Thanks for the info re the ALP-44. Must be a recent change -- I had to reverse it myself when I started this project a few months ago.

Which headlight isn't working on your end?

So much NJT Stock all of a sudden! Although I might be back with some feedback later after more running (not sure if the Headlight LOD issue I'm having is my end or not).

Also, Cheesecake's ALP-44 is already reversible provided you have a cab car on one end. It's the AEM-7 that isn't.

@Roman

There's already an NJT ALP-44 on the workshop. I just updated the description above to include a link to it along with directions for making it reversible. Let me know if you have any trouble.
