As Phoenix Fleet Systems continued its expansion, it began creating smaller subsidiaries to carry out various tasks. One of these was Typhon Armorworks. The company debuted with the Piranha light tank, and quickly made a name for itself as it became a favorite for local defense forces.

While small and light, the Piranha packs a surprising punch and is capable of easily piercing the shields and armor of larger tanks in one full charge. Favoring speed over armor, the Piranha is a fast tank that can outrun and outmaneuver its foes with ease, but at the same time has a large shield quantity that allows it to make up for any shortcomings.

- The slider on the right side of the pilot seat will control the front-most hover engines. Increasing this slider will pitch the nose up, which will cause the tank to accelerate more slowly, but it also means that the tank is more capable of handling terrain changes at the same speeds than it would otherwise. Obviously, the nose pitching up is not favorable for aiming the fixed weapons, so in combat it is recommended that you leave it at the default setting, which allows the tank to be level. This will also mean the fastest possible acceleration and speed. There is no advantage to bringing the slider all the way down (which will pitch the nose down)
