Nividium Cartel

The Nividium Cartel is a criminal organization that uses Nividium for their questionable business. As a reaction, Nividium has been declared illegal in most areas of the known galaxy. It introduces Nividium Mining as a viable source of income for those not afraid to conflict with the law.


In the base game there are no consumers for Nividium. Trading stations stop buying it as soon as their storage is full. With the ascend of the Nividium Cartel there is a consumer for the item and stations will continue to buy Nividium. The amount of consumption is based on the security status of a sector and dynamically varies over time. In the more dangerous areas, they purchase higher quantities, which leads to better prices.


If a new games is started with this mod active, then pirate stations and free ports will also add Nividium to their list of goods. Understandably, the cartels activity and consumption will be much higher on those stations.


This mod does not conflict with your existing save games and can be enabled/disabled at any time without a problem.


Auto Miners and Auto Traders are usually not very loyal when it comes to dealing with illegal goods. When mining Nividium they will decline to sell their illegal cargo. You might want to consider also installing Loyal Crew to make them comply.
