I think the up and down view model should be the other way around, the up view should be the down view and vice versa. Or is it really like that?

oh, open the models extracted viewmodel qc file and for every swing event, add this command after the activity. { event AE_CL_CREATE_PARTICLE_EFFECT 6 "weapon_melee_blur follow_attachment attach_blur" }

np. got it working but i still have to learn blender anyway to remove the weapon shake animation. one problem that i have that is not related to this is that the pitchfork doesn't have the motion blur added to it when swinging, do you know how to fix this?

you need to export the models using blender and add a texture line in the weapons qc file! im unsure of specifics so id also decompile the weapon from the update folder too :)
