Description
"Playboy" Buddy Rose started wrestling for the AWA in 1973 and wrestled over the next two decades, moving a few times between the AWA, NWA, WWF, and WCW.

The 8-time NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion gained a significant amount of weight before a WWF run in 1990. Rose insisted that he was a slim, trim 217 pounds instead of his announced weight of 317. Rose famously appeared in a Buddy Rose Blow Away Diet ad that involved him pouring a powder over himself and using a house fan to blow it all away.
