She can carry your stuff, you can trade with her, ask her to do stuff (ex. kill someone, walk here...) she has a custom text when she follows you , it appears in the upper right corner so you know she is following you, she uses magic and mele to fight, she is found in riverwood, near the tree at the loggin machine if not then just look at the river till you see her.
