Improved Fertility and Mortality

Description
[Tested with 1.1 - works perfectly. Updated charts uploaded in images above]

This mod improves fertility and mortality to be a bit more realistic.

List of changes:
1. Increased base number of kids per ruler to 6 for counts and 7 for everyone above (base numbers were 2 for count, 3 for dukes, 5 for kings and emperors).
2. Lowered female adult / childbearing age to 14.
3. Significantly increase variability of health. In base game, boys are born with health in 3.5-4.0 range, girls in 4.0-4.5 range; in this mod, boys have 3.2-6.0 range, girls 3.7-6.5 range.
4. Higher health threshold for random death. In base game, if health is below 3.0, character might die randomly "of natural causes"; this mod increases it to 3.5.
5. The above results in much higher variability of age at death. In base game, most characters die at ~65 years old. This mod smoothes it out, with people able to die from natural causes from 40 and more. There will be some cases of people dying at 35 but also some cases of people living past 100.
6. Age expectation is lower; in base game, it's ~65, in this mod it's ~57.
7. Increased the chance of death in childbirth, from ~3% in base game to ~5% in the mod.
8. Increased the effect of health-related traits. Bad traits (weak, feeble, frail) are even worse, good traits (amazonian, robust, hale) are even better. Whole of body is also better.
9. Increased the effect of sterile & fecund traits.
10. Increased infant and child mortality by a factor of ~3x.

Not compatible with Ironman.
Compatible with ongoing save games, however it will not change life expectancy of already existing characters. From the moment you continue save game with this mod, all people born thereafter will have new life expectancy. Limit on number of children for existing characters will increase.

Note that this mod will lead to noticeable increase in number of characters in your save, so the game might run slower.

Thank you https://www.reddit.com/user/Imnimo/ for the script that calculates and draws cause of death statistics.
Shout out to the Ultimate Tooltip mod author https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2216876966 - it helped to test this mod.

Feedback is appreciated :).

In the future, I'd like to also add a high variability to fertility, so there will be couples that struggle to get even 1 kid, and there will be couples with 10-15 kids. But I don't know yet how to do it.

I just want to note it something here, as it's the only mod I use that affects death rates that I'm aware of. It also could be the case of bad luck honestly as well. In my latest game, started after RC came out, most of the women in my family are dying in childbirth.

So far, I'm in the 3rd generation family wise. As of now I've had five daughter's die in childbirth out of six. The sixth died by drowning so never got the chance. Extended family hasn't had any daughter live long enough to have kids yet on their end.

With that being said, most die in the first or second time around. I did have one that manage to have four before dying to the 5th. So again could just be bad luck. Or maybe there's a gene that increases the odds that my family just happens to have.

Not game breaking or anything naturally. I personally enjoy the increased death rates this mod overall. Chaos reigns which always helps the game not become dull!

This needs to be updated properly for royal court. Damned everyone keeps dying now.

Is anyone else noticing a bug where characters with the Whole of Body trait will not actually die? Pope Stephanus is currently over 120 years old, dying, and has yet to actually kick the bucket in my save

Thatrandomtoast the population during the medieval period definitely grew, between 1000 and 1300 the population in Europe doubled, which by modern standards seems small, but by comparison 500-1000 and 1300-1500 there was no population growth, in the former because of technological regression post Rome and the instability of society, in the latter because the plague completely destroyed Europe. But in the bulk of the period CK3 covers, population growth was solid and steady across Europe.

So there's this issue that when women are betrothed they move to another court too early to finish their education so they end up with their childhood traits and shitty skills can you set the female adult age to 16 agai?
