Imperial Gardens

Description
Built in 1888 by an excentric Emperor, Imperial Gardens was meant to showcase the splendour of the whole natural world. A small paradise of science and art dedicated to the all-embracing grace of nature.

Around 150 hours in the making and still not finished. Imperial Gardens is now open for curious guests. Step into the gallery of evolution and comparable anatomy and learn about Earth's history, go to the tropical dome built on top of an abandoned strip mine, or wander into the smaller desert dome and see with your own eyes how even the most inhospitable areas of the world are blooming with life. The emperor's gardens are open to you.

no, not really, there is another unfinished version on my private harddrive. But it was the same issue I had with all my zoos:
Too many buildings: lagging issues.

If you wanna know what was supposed to be in Imperial Gardens: watch zshplays youtube video of my aquarium. It was originally planned to be in Imperial Gardens.

Some ideas I recycled for "the menagerie" you could download on my workshop.

He also did some work for Pairi Daiza, if you google "Pairi Daiza new entrance" you will notice the style ;)

That is so amazing! I just found out about its existence and I am very inspired by both his Zoo graphic novel and his plans for his own zoo Animalium. Will probably start a zoo soon based on Frank Pé's universe :P

Thank you, Basil_Oz, it's not completely done. I am still working bit by bit on the zoo. Some day there will be an even more detailed version online :) But I am always happy when someone enjoys my work

The detail in this zoo is just incredible! It makes my little square habitats with a tree and a rock look rather mweh! Beautifully crafted with an amazing amount of patience. Well done!
