Description
Have you ever spent 2 hours building a recreation of every target minigame from smash bros only to realize that you have to manually replace and rewire each target every time you use it? Well put that giant stack of replacement single-use targets down, because this amazing product (Patent-Pending) will NOT break!*
How to Craft/Use
Crafting: There are two recipes. One uses a scanner, a teeny bit of iron, and some dye! The other is basically the scanner recipe plus the extra bits! Both yield 5 targets. In short: Cheap! Available at the wiring station (You learn them when you pick one up!)
Use:
Just shoot it, dummy.
Refer to the wiring diagram (Made by Patman);
Starbound is buggy, so the only way to do precise hit detection is by testing for if the target was damaged. As such, it has a very high HP so that the branding statement "Does NOT break*" is accurate! To remove it, press interact. As indicated in the wiring diagram, there is a toggle for this. The other input determines whether the color will change if the buggier projectile detection (Which seems to detect projectiles from 2 miles away, I might upload a pic that demonstates it) is ticked. This does NOT change the behavior of the output nodes.

*WARNING: PrimaTech Reusable Targets, like all things in this world, have finite durability, and extremely high damage will break them! Our engineering team chose a hahah funny number with 5 digits as its durability, so avoid doing more than 65k damage at once! If you do accidentally break the target, it will drop itself, so you can just pick it right back up!

Credit to Patman (You know him well) for scripting, testing, and the wiring diagram.
Partial credit to Lyrthras for getting me started, though sadly your method is buggy due to engine flaws
Partial credit to FractalHex for suggesting the use of damage detection

Yeah now the only thing I want that's remotely realistic is a live, numeric HP display (Like, it says you have X/Y HP, where X is your current and Y is your max...or just say X%) instead of a bar
But that won't happen
