Description
Welcome to BGM Garage & Repair
small mod for Big Things, it aims to performance-tune all current and future Big Game Mounts, so they handle better. It aims for uniqe feel of creature riden with as much balance as possible... with a drop of petrolhead silliness.

Current Version: 1.2 build 0 (discontinued)
Funcom made sure I don't really want to make any more content for their game, mod works, it will very likely continue to work for years to come, but... no more updates

Tuning spotlight:
  • We took your regular rhino and fitted it with all terrain suspension, supercharger and double exhaust (mind the fumes), now it handles better so you can ride stronger!
  • We took those stygian pickups that came with an army and added advanced dustfilters and air compression system with advanced ECU, now you can cross the desert without mandatory stops at every darfari fueling camp!

  • We took stock saddles (manufacturer cheaply fitted with mass produced parts for horses, the nerve!) and customized their gearboxes and drives so they fit the purpose just right.

Description:
Rhino parameters has been altered around charger-war mount idea, hence muscle car reference.
  • Rhino have somewhat heavy start but can achieve great speeds when sprinting.
  • Rhino maneuver best at low-medium speeds, once rhino charges there is not much you can do to alter its trajectory
  • Rhinos are not marathon runners, going full power depletes fuel reserves fast and takes bit time to recuperate, but when they hit it's a HIT
Rhino charge
  • charging with rhino (or colliding with things when moving) will give satisfactory trampling experience
  • damage target receives is scalar now, and depends on both rhino strength attribute and momentum at moment of collision, the latter being deciding factor on just how much damage will such collision cause.
  • Low speeds result in brusing pushbacks while mad full throttle charge may be devastating.

Tuning details
  • Travel Rhino - handle well with best trot speed and stamina but lowest top speed and mediocre acceleration.

  • Cavalry Rhino - true charger with good trot speed, best top speed and acceleration but they don't do well in corners and burn stamina fastest

  • War Rhino - heaviest to handle with slowest trot speed and acceleration, but capable of achieving good top speed when they get there, they excel in close quarters maneuvers, mediocre stamina

Rhino charge
  • charging with rhino (or colliding with things when moving) will give satisfactory trampling experience
  • damage target receives is scalar now, and depends on both rhino strength attribute and momentum at moment of collision, the latter being deciding factor on just how much damage will such collision cause.
  • Low speeds result in brusing pushbacks while mad full throttle charge may be devastating.

Camel parameters have been altered around four-by-four pickup truck, but not your rowdy 'merican "stuck in every muddy puddle type", rather those hilux types, that win paris-dakkar races.
  • Camels are bit sluggish and slow, with bad manovrebility.
  • But boy they can run for miles, not even best poitain scout ponys can keep up for long.
