Description
I realise that I already have the Deagle Redux entry as well, but I figured seperating them would be good for people who want the choice. This mod is probably my definitive Desert Eagle though, thanks to the power of learning how to reverse-engineer animations without the source.

The old version was passable, but it suffered a lot from just being a direct port from the pistol onto the Desert Eagle. This time around though I've gone through and added so much detail to this thing even though you probably wouldn't be able to notice it anyway. But now this is a real handcannon that is the pride and joy of yours truly.

Unfortunately, the animations aren't entirely authentic as I have modified a majority of them (and even had to remake the up/down due to the decompile process chewing it up) but it still retains the same L4D1 feel.

Here's a quick rundown of the features:-
- Tweaked every animation to take advantage of the TLS features added; namely, proper shell ejection, previously unused Magnum sound events and support for the new skins added
- Animated more moving parts; the hammer now works properly, the shell slots itself into the barrel after each shot (I assume this is how Desert Eagles work, I referenced several videos of them in action), animated a shell in the magazine for the empty reload, the slide moves back accurately etc. It is vastly more detailed in this regard.
- Accurate for online play - you can fire as soon as the reload animation is done.
- Fixed the stuttering that happened on the original animation when helping out friends or reaching for items.
- Added a sound event for the fire_last animation, which will play the Magnum slide back sound to indicate the last shot.
- The magazine ejects in a straight line instead of the weird fall it did originally.
- The Survivors now have trigger discipline when reloading.
- Moved the origin slightly up to emphasise the feeling of... power? It definitely feels more beefy.
- Added some end frames on the reload animations because they were snapping and it looked bad imo.

Compatible with Desert Eagle reskins (not models or reanimations).

Animations aren't mine, so feel free to use these as a base for whatever. Credit goes to TRS, Lt. Rocky and Valve for animations, porting and models respectively.

You gonna do finish all of the animations and make it a pack or is that it?

Absolutely based! It makes the gun feel heavier and far more menancing since it's the only one that's held closer to the camera (default FOV and I use no other anim mods).

I'd also can't wait for the other remaining TRS animations if you're planning to do them

I understand the requests thing, but that would be awesome

@Eery Jan
I usually don't do requests because if I do one, then everyone starts asking for them but I'll definitely consider it

Can't wait to see you give the rest of the L4D1 animations some love

Also I wonder if you could stick the Hunting Rifle on edited TLS Military Rifle animations sometime in the future? It's alright if you don't do requests, you just seem like the perfect guy to do it. The Hunting Rifle using L4D1 animations ever since release has always been a pain to me, and I really like the default L4D2 animations
