Description
The Prelsync's design flaws eventually spelled its downfall. With underside hull breaches often sinking it rapidly. The frequency of them sinking eventually resulted in their decommission and scrapping. The wrecks of these subs are still often encountered. usually with the lower hull scraped or torn off.
