Sheep in Wolf's Clothing

Description
Player's compete on a cut-throat island to determine...who is the fluffiest, most famous sheep in all the land!

Every two weeks players can choose between 3 resource rewards and 3 unit rewards. Each year these rewards increase in value. There are no buildings or resources on the map itself other than a few Pillars of Glory, which can be assigned two Heralds for fame. The player who reaches 1500 fame or 100 sheep in their land is the winner!

This map is balanced around MAXIMUM FUN AND CHAOS! Make a hilariously large army to crush your foes, or jealously guard your 70 sheep all at your townhall, all hoping that your enemies aren't planning the same.

Best with 7 other friends, but works with AI! They aren't the best, but they will certainly try their best! Play with a mix of friends and AI!

Teams
Now with TEAMS! The host can choose a team mode at game start:

  • Free for all. This is the standard mode and will default if nothing is chosen after 15 seconds.

  • 2v2v2v2 Adjacent. Your ally will start next to you.
Orange and Blue. Brown and Red. Green and Black. Yellow and Purple.

  • 2v2v2v2 Opposite. Your ally will be across from you on the island (but still close!)
Orange and Brown. Blue and Red. Purple and Green. Yellow and Black.

  • 4v4 Grouped. Your allies will be the bottom half or top half of the map.
  • 4v4 Adjacent. Your allies will be on the left or right half of the map.

perhaps is an issue with a new patch, but I've tried the map yet didnt found any script running but the extra food on the town hall. my game was a regular one with litle to no space to expand or basically do nothing but wait.

I'll look into the stone being useless because you can't upgrade. Though, to be fair the game is fun without it so maybe just removing the stone is a better choice.

The game should end after you get 100 sheep. It gives players like 5 or so seconds before ending completely. I'll look into that bug.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Your mode is really fun, good job !

I guess it's funnier to play it with real player, the AI don't attack and just starve with 50+ warband at a point of the game

I took the stone bonus many times, but actually it's useless because your townhall is already upgrade but you can't upgrade any building, the game think that you don't have an upgraded townhall
So no upgrades, no altar, making the stone useless

Finally, when i reached 100+ sheeps, the win message displays but the game doesn't end, maybe should it trigger a victory ?

I played against all bots, so I don't have any info on that. (No friends. :lunar2019smilingpig: Well, no one who plays computer games.)

Great to hear you enjoyed it! Did you play with friends or AI? I think there is a bug with how the objectives are shown to players that aren't the host, but that is on Northgard's side, not mine.

It is definitely fun. And quite an imaginative reworking of the game. I enjoyed it for as long as I could play. Thanks for making it.

I was definitely not complaining or suggesting -- I know that the problem was on my end, that I have a low-end computer and realized that it must work just fine on a better computer. (I never play big PvP games. I wonder if that would happen there also, or if it is a matter of the AIs being able to keep everything in motion at once plus the extra resource deliveries.)

Ooof, I was able to have hundreds of units running around, and it would get a little laggy when I told them all the move and the AI tried to move all theirs in response. Though, this only happened if I purposefully let the game go on too long.

Unfortunately, I can't improve the performance of the game, but do you feel like you get too many units? Or is it fun and fine as it is, even with the lag?

You need a much faster computer than I have to run this, with the hundred of units fighting. Mine froze in such a way that my deliveries were stacked up in a queue off the coast of my Town Hall. It was like the Suez Canal with a freighter crossways in it :lunar2019smilingpig:
