Smooth L4D2 Menu Backgrounds (24fps => 48fps)

Did you notice the menu background videos are at 24fps?

I decided to try and use the DAIN app to bump the video files from 24 to 48fps, for extra smoothness! I gotta admit, I was really surprised with the results.

I considered upscaling the videos, but given the fact the camera in those shots is almost always out of focus, the difference was really minimal, so I didn't do it, as it would triple the file size and render times for almost nothing.

I also considered making a 60fps version (or more), but 48fps already took like 40-45 minutes per video (each video is 15 seconds long, there's five of them), sooooo... I didn't know if it was worth it. I could consider it again in the future, though!

– Launch the game and make sure your mods get all loaded
– Close the game and go to your addon folder ( <Steam Folder>\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop), and locate the right .vpk file (there should be an image similar to this addon's preview with the name of the corresponding .vpk)
– Open the .vpk file with GFScape and extract the video files to <Steam Folder>\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media\ (MAKE SURE TO BACKUP THE ORIGINAL l4d2_background FILES)
– Launch the game!

– Open it with Winrar, 7zip, or any other similar tool capable of opening .rar files
– Extract the video files to <Steam Folder>\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media\ (MAKE SURE TO BACKUP THE ORIGINAL l4d2_background FILES)
– Launch the game!
