Less Ipecac Scaling

Description
Ever had a run killed because your Ipecac shots got just a bit too big for the explosions actually to deal damage?

Never. Again.

Your vomit will now scale much less than normal, so you can go ahead and pick up all those items that could normally end your run.

I had purposely not done that, as (at least when I made the mod) the explosion radius from Ipecac does not scale with tear radius, meaning that the tear size could become larger than the explosion, making your tears deal zero damage without spawning on top of the enemy.

similar to what jebediah said, if its possible to update this mod to disable when blast immunity is present, it would be a nice gimmick for both sides of the synergies

Only use this mod if you have no pyromaniac

You're correct in that you've probably seen a few tears resize just after being fired. I'm quite new to modding, but I'm not convinced that there's a way to change the size of tears before they've had a chance to display for that single frame. Anyway, I appreciate you actually taking the time to do those little tests

In testing this further to get screenshots, it seems I might have been mistaken. Size in general feels smaller than I expect, but it definitely does shrink dramatically with Ipecac specifically. I also think I saw them occasionally try initially to fire at full size, only to shrink a moment later. If it wasn't just my eyes playing tricks on me again, that would mean that your mod is forcing the tears to resize after they're fired, further suggesting I was just mistaken. In any case, I've removed my previous comments, because it seems I was wrong.

polyphemus is also affected.

I guess easy(ish) way to check this out would be to send me some screenshots of:
1) Tear sizes with and without the mod active (quit to menu, disable the mod, and resume the game, so the items you have remain the same between screenshots; preferably when you expect that your tears should be big)
2) A list of what items you've picked up (The one from the pause screen should suffice)
3) Your current mod list

Hopefully all that should get me enough info to try and work out what's going on.

It should only be decreasing the scaling when you have Ipecac. I've been done several runs with this active, and have only had Ipecac shots come out smaller than they'd normally be. If you can get me a bit more info on when this happens, I could look into what's going on.

'Toast Thornshnoz' Ok that's pretty good. I got a chuckle out of that. Also, I hate not being able to kill things because projectile too big for explosion to hit. Thanks for making this mod. stillwishwecouldusemodsontheconsoleversions.
