The Mantis were an insectoid space race in the RTS game Conquest: Frontier Wars. Unlike the other races, their fleet focus was strike craft. Even their basic corvette sized vessel has two light fighter wings.

With this collection I aim to bring the various Mantis crafts from Conquest: Frontier Wars to FTD. I am a novice ship builder, so don't expect the crafts to be mind-blowing but I do my best. These designs aim to be how they were in Conquest: Frontier Wars and not particularly balanced for FTD. However, they do seem to take out crafts of similar material costs.

If anybody would like to contribute and/or polish the designs or make them more efficient, please feel free to use my crafts as a baseline. I only request that you let me know of your build so that I can use it for myself as well. The designs should stay in the general looks and behaviours of the Mantis. E.g. updating the engines and refining the hull's shape are okay, but e.g. adding weaponry to the motherships or changing the swarm-like behaviour of the drones are not.
