Beskrivning
Adds a ranged version of the Ironclad.

A new unit has been introduced alongside the Ironclad called the Armored Frigate. Frigates will now upgrade to this new unit instead of the Battleship. The Armored Frigate requires coal to be built.

Armored Frigate (45 combat, 45 ranged, 2 range)

Privateers will now upgrade to the Ironclad instead of the Destroyer. Additionally, the Ironclad has been renamed to the Armored Corvette and like the Privateer before it, does NOT require a strategic resource like coal or iron.

Both the Armored Frigate and Armored Corvette have a base momevent speed of 5 and no longer have a movement bonus in coast. This change will allow them to fight competently in the open ocean.

This mod uses assets from the American Civil War Scenario

It's the animation. Switching to quick combat circumvents the issue.

It's worse, they literally can't attack. If they do, it'll crash the game.

This unit crashes the game when attacking a barbarian encampment and when you make one of them they don't benefit from +XP from the city.

The Armored Corvette/Ironclad has 50 ranged damage and costs no resources while the Armored Frigate only has 45. This makes the Armored Frigate not very viable.

Hey, so I had an idea for a mod similar to these that you make, where Battleships upgrade to Missile Cruisers once you get them, and Missile Cruisers get to shoot beyond line of sight like Battleships do. As it is, your ranged fleet units just kinda become obsolete and then you have to disband them and build cruisers. I feel like a straight upgrade makes way more sense. Love your mods, they help with a lot of confusing decisions on the part of the devs.
