Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets had a wonderful game for the Gamecube and PC, and as far as I'm aware it's quite the popular title in the Harry Potter gameworld. As expected, you follow the story of dear 'ol Harry as he tries to survive his second year at Hogwarts, with a dangerous creature lurking somewhere on school grounds...


I very much enjoyed playing this game as a young'n, though I cannot play it anymore due to its dumb registration key thing. Someone once made a manual fix to this problem, but, well, let's not discuss that. Anyways, this is a recreation of the level that you go through to get the piece of Goyle for the Polyjuice Potion. My favorite level from the game, so I recreated it in Gmod so you could chill in it more easily.

Map features included:
- The whole level, from the dungeons entrance to the barn
- No magic puzzles, but you can unlock and open the door at the start of the level (with the context menu or a door-unlocking-and-opening apparatus) and press a brick in the wall to activate enemies in the level. May require Half-Life 2: Episode Two mounted to Gmod, as one of the enemies is a Combine Hunter. Music also plays a bit when you enter the main level.
- There is a shortcut route added that lets you traverse the level much quicker than usual, but requires the aforementioned context-menu-or-door-unlocking-and-opening-apparatus to use. The barred off doors along this route may be opened by unlocking and opening the bottom bar of the lock; attempting to open the top bar may or may not crash the game.

'ts a cool place, I think. The game of origin will always have a close place in my heart, and maybe, just maybe, some day I'll do more... at the very least, there's a chance I might return to this map and clean it up slightly. If y'alls are interested, do make it known, and that potential return might potentially happen faster. Who knows.


Unlike our young wizarding friend, I don't have dead parents who left me a massive fortune in their passing.
