Description:
The Scylla main battle tank design is focused on providing flexibility with both long and close range turrets, a reasonable speed despite the large size, and a full interior such that crew may stay embarked for their entire mission. However this all comes at the price of being absolutely massive compared to other main battle tanks resulting in a higher cost both construction and logistics. As such Scylla class tanks are designed with more focus placed on shield capacity rather than recharge in the hopes that the shield will hold long enough to even the odds which can be estimated to be as bad as 4 hostile tanks for each friendly. Despite this crew for Scylla class tanks often view the assignment as fairly cushy and sometimes refer to the tank as a combat camper van.
