Description
Stats:
Length: 57 meters
Width: 37 meters
Height: 18 meters
Weight: 1360 tons (dry)
Crew: up to 14 (6 crew, 8 pilots)

Armament:
8 retractable turrets
4 forward facing beams

The CS Beluga is designed to perform on site construction, repair and salvage operations. It has a decently sized cargohold to carry materials and comes with 8 hangars. 6 of these are intended for the Workerbee ship and 2 for Skycranes.

Because of its capabilities its sometimes deployed to locations where it might come under attack and therefor was outfitted with 8 retractable turrets and forward facing weapons.

The cargo area can be reached from the top and the ship has a cargo elevator that can to the ground all the way to the top. It can carry 2 containers or other mid sized cargo on its belly but was not designed to land while holding these.

The ship is also a pirate favorite as it can hold a small fleet of fighters and any stolen cargo.

at the back of the ship next to the top engines there is empty space. There should be hatches in the rear top hangars to access the area.

I already made an personal modification where I just emptied out 2 living quarters I didn't use and filled it with cores, not ideal but it got me a few lightyears worth of range

Yeah, taking a little break from it for now though, the Beluga at least has space for it already, the Canterbury is trickier though as it has no spare space remaining.

do you plan on modifying some of your ships or at least the beluga for interstellar travel now that warps have been implemented

@Amplified_1 yeah i know, i considered putting in a catch on the roof so it would "hang" on that instead of using its landing gear. changing the landing gear for the skycrane doesnt really work as the chair needs to come down to allow entrance.

I kindof managed to do it but it is a tight fit, if you ever redesign the skycrane compacting it in smaller landing gear mode would be good to make it fit better since auto landing is too janky to do it properly when it needs to fit something in a tight space

how do I fit the skycrane in with the landing gear so that I can actually get out of it
