My eleventh car for CMS 2018 is the DKW 3=6 from 1956. The DKW 3=6 (TYP F93) was produced from 1955 - 1959 (137.800 units). The curious name 3=6 means that on each rotation of the crankshaft it makes 3 work cycles because of the 3-Cylinder-2-Stroke engine like a 6-Cylinder-4-Stroke engine. It was a very solid car, the body based on a frame. That's one of the reasons I made this car and also because of its attractive shape. It fits perfectly to my series of 'economic miracle' cars from germany in the fifties.

I tried to model as closely as possible to the original, unfortunateley we have no 2-Stroke-Engine in the game. So I decided to take the i3-engine from the game combined with an engine cover. And the axles are my own creation.

The car is easy to drive, especially equipped with slicks ('WOLF'-Versions of the car)

If you have a Mercedes DLC and you want to have a functional and realistic steering wheel in the 'WOLF'-versions then I would recommend that you replace the Bowen steering wheel with the 300SL steering wheel.

All doors and lids can be opened. Other special features include the foldable seat backs (in the 'ORIG'-versions) and the glove box with an unexpected gimmick. Check it out!

Further gags: in the 'ORIG'-versions you have a color-matching interior. You can open the trunk lid by touching the steering wheel when the car is motionless. In all versions there is a functioning brake-light control lamp on the dashboard.

The car can be built up starting with the bare frame.

There are four available versions:

ORIG Coupe: 50 HP (the original had 38 HP, but I wanted achieve the original top speed of 125 kph) but please feel free to change the parameter 'enginetorquemod' in the config.txt to adjust the power

ORIG Cabrio: technically similar to the ORIG coupe.

WOLF Coupe: 220 HP (a lot of fun to drive), comes with slicks and interior parts from the game (Bowen steering wheel and TBX seats). I recommend that you equip this version with a tuning gear box (DLC tuning needed)

WOLF Cabrio: technically similar to the WOLF coupe.

Tested on the Nürburgring (from K3), can you beat my 07:35 lap time??

Comes with some liveries, please feel free to create your own.

Deutsch:

Mein elftes Auto für CMS 2018 ist der DKW 3=6 von 1956. Der DKW 3=6 (TYP F93) wurde von 1955 bis 1959 produziert (137.800 Stück). Die kuriose Modellbezeichnung 3=6 bedeutet dass pro Kurbelwellenumdrehung 3 Arbeitstakte stattfinden wie bei einem 6-Zylinder-Motor, dies ermöglichte die 2-Takt-Technik.
Der DKW war ein sehr solides Auto mit eigenem Rahmen. Dies und die schöne Form waren mit der Grund dafür dass ich dieses Auto bauen wollte. Außerdem passt es perfekt in meine Wirtschaftswunderauto-Serie der 50-er Jahre.

Wie immer habe ich versucht das Modell so detailgetreu wie möglich zu bauen, leider gibt es keinen 2-Takt-Motor in CMS 2018 deshalb habe ich den 3 Zyl I3 Motor mit einer Motorverkleidung im DKW-Stil verkleidet. Kurioserweise muss man leider auch Öl wechseln, das ist ja bei keinem 2-Takter notwendig und möglich.
Mit den Fahreigenschaften bin ich diesmal sehr zufrieden, das Fahrzeug ist einfach zu beherrschen auch dank Frontantrieb, besonders mit Slicks ausgestattet (WOLF-Versionen)

Falls Du in den WOLF-Versionen ein funktionierendes und einigermassen passendes Lenkrad haben willst empfehle ich den Austausch des Bowen-Lenkrads durch das Lenkrad 300 SL. (Mercedes DLC)

Alle Türen und Klappen können geöffnet werden. Extras sind die klappbaren Sitzlehnen vorn (wie bei meinem Trabant P50) und das aufklappbare Handschuhfach mit Gag. Um sich reinzusetzen müssen die Sitze nicht mehr demontiert werden.

Weitere Besonderheiten: In den ORIG-Versionen gibt es Color-Matching-Innenverkleidungen und -Sitze, der Kofferraumdeckel kann durch Klick aufs Lenkrad fernbedient werden, alle Versionen haben eine funktionierende Bremslichtkontrolleuchte im Armaturenbrett.
Erstmals ist es mir gelungen 2 Karosserievarianten (Coupe + Cabrio) in einem Modell aufzubauen.

Der DKW kann komplett ab Rahmen aufgebaut werden.

4 Versionen verfügbar:

ORIG Coupe: 50 PS (das Original hat 38 PS, aber ich wollte die Höchstgeschwindigkeit auf 125 Km/h trimmen), über den Parameter 'enginetorquemod' in der config.txt lässt sich die Leistung nach Belieben anpassen
ORIG Cabrio: technisch identisch mit Coupe ORIG
WOLF Coupe: 220 PS (viel Fahrspass !), ausgestattet mit Slicks und Interieur Teile aus dem Spiel (Lenkrad Bowen und Sitze TBX), ich empfehle ein Tuning-Getriebe (tuning DLC benötigt) zu verbauen.
WOLF Cabrio: technisch identisch mit Coupe WOLF

Auf dem Nürburgring (von K3) abgestimmt, kannst Du meine 07:35 Rundenzeit unterbieten ?

Kann überall gefunden werden.

Dabei sind ein paar Liveries (Texturen). Gerne kannst Du eigene erstellen.
